Geosea specializes in offshore works, with a focus on drilling or hammering of large diameter piles, installation of offshore structures, site investigations at sea, soft soil improvement, drilling, blasting and directional drilling for landfall and wreck removal. Large jack-up platforms such as ‘Zeebouwer’ and ‘Vagant’ and a number of drilling and piling rigs are our plant of choice for working in water depths of up to 40 meters. Your responsibilities:

As an electrician of a jack-up platform you will be responsible for all electrical installations on board. Depending on your  motivation and skills you can be deployed on different types of jack-up platforms. A ‘hands on’ mentality is required.

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in electricity  or electromechanics and proven experience in AC/DC, frequency control and reading of plans. You will be tested on this prior to your interview
  • You can work independently and are willing to learn all technical aspects of the jack-up process
  • You speak fluent English
  • You will work in an offshore regime (2/1, 3/1 or 8/4) depending on the requirements of the project.
  • Working away from home both in Belgium and in other countries is not a problem  for you
