Procurement Manager (Major Projects)

Your assignment:

You act as a key player in the Project Team throughout the preparation of the project and the execution of the works to their completion.
You are responsible for the procurement, construction and installation of the (steel) foundation of the windmill structures. You manage the tendering process, negotiations with suppliers worldwide, and ensure that the quality of the production process is compliant to our standards. During the installation phase of the foundations, you follow up the installation team, and provide them with specialist advise. You manage the contract with the supplier (and subcontractors).

Your profile:

• You are qualified in Engineering (by preference specialized in construction, materials or mechanics) and have specialised in the design, development and installation of large steel structures. Experience with installation works in an offshore environment is an asset.
• You are familiar with the relevant legislation and regulations, have a thorough materials knowledge, knowledge of the welding techniques used in the construction of large steel structures, quality control, …
• You have a good command of English, both spoken and in writing.
