Your assignment:

You act as a coach in support of the project teams on our sites abroad. You set a good example for project employees, motivate them, and advise appropriate action where necessary.

In practice, this means that you start up and fine-tune the operation of the DEME safety, environment and quality system on sites, with particular emphasis on safety. You ensure that safety is approached and monitored in a structural way through risk analysis, preventive measures, information and action lists. You implement the safety system on the sites and provide further support via inspections, monitoring and certification audits.

Your profile:

• you have a higher technical education, supplemented with a Safety Diploma Level 1 or Level 2, and gained a minimum of experience of 3 years, preferably on large construction sites;
• you are honest, tactful and pragmatic, with excellent communication skills;
• you are able to organise your work in an efficient and systematic way;
• you speak and write English on an excellent level;
• you are attracted by working abroad for shorter or longer periods.
